Yorkshire Sport Foundation signs partnership with easyfundraising – allowing grassroots clubs and talented athletes to receive retailers’ donations when club members, family and friends shop online.

Yorkshire Sport Foundation is delighted to announce a brand-new partnership with easyfundraising, which will allow clubs based in South and West Yorkshire the opportunity to raise even more funds simply by shopping online.

easyfundraising is the UK’s largest retail fundraising platform, enabling over one million supporters of 110,000 good causes and charities to raise valuable donations every time their supporters shop online. Working with over 3,300 retailers, over £20million has been raised via the platform for good causes nationwide.

Sports clubs across South and West Yorkshire can start raising funds easily right away. Clubs and athletes can register via the Yorkshire Sport Foundation easyfundraising website:  https://www.easyfundraising.org.uk/yorkshiresportfoundation

and then encourage their members and community to go via the easyfundraising website or app every time they shop online via their computer, tablet or mobile device to raise funds for their own club or raise funds to support a talented athlete’s training/competition costs.

Once signed up to easyfundraising as a supporter of a club, parents, players, friends and fans can simply log in to easyfundraising, select the retailer of their choice and shop as normal. Once they complete their shopping, the club receives a free donation from the retailer. Huge online brands and retailers including Amazon, John Lewis, Argos, booking.com, ebay and Sainsbury’s are just a few of 3,300+ retailers on board with easyfundraising.

To make fundraising efforts go further, if you sign up through Yorkshire Sport Foundation, you will get an extra 20% added to your total. Nigel Harrison, Yorkshire Sport Foundation’s Chief Executive, said: “Raising money for your club or to support training for talented athletes can be a real challenge. Schemes like this make it easier to raise funds and we want to support your efforts, so we wanted to help you raise that bit more.”

Ian Woodroffe, founder of easyfundraising, added: “We are delighted to be partnering with Yorkshire Sports Foundation and support sports clubs and talented athletes in South and West Yorkshire.  Our platform provides a simple and effective way to raise funds for your sports club or support a talented athlete when you, club members, family and friends shop online. We work with over 3,300 retailers who are ready to give you free donations – join today!”
