Supporting the District Activity Partnership in Sheffield.
Stuart joined the team in 2009 following nine years working in Local Authority Physical Activity & Sport Development at Sheffield City Council starting initially as a coach, development officer and finally as a senior manager.
Stuart led the national governing body work through the 2009 to 2013 whole sport plan phase and has taken the opportunity to help community sport get closer to young people by taking on the strategic lead for Satellite Clubs.

Personal Sporting Interests:
Previously all interests have involved the playing, coaching and managing of football at all levels of the game until recently. Currently family life dictates using my leisure time wisely by biking and running to work.
Stuart has recently taken up endurance running covering various half marathons and completed his first marathon at London in 2013 with an aspiration for more challenges on the horizon. Stuart is also a keen enthusiast for all things muddy having completed a number of rural obstacles races.
