Creating Connections supports disabled people to get active

Whatever your age, size and impairment, you can benefit from being more active. Getting active can help you have fun, meet new friends, get fit and enjoy life.

If you have any of the following conditions then we’re here to help you get active.

  • Mental health
    Including: depression, anxiety, bipolar, ADHD, PTSD, OCD, Tourette Syndrome, panic attacks, dementia or any other diagnosed mental health issue.
  • Learning disabilities
    Including: Down Syndrome, Williams Syndrome, Fragile X Syndrome, Global Development Delay, Challenging Behaviour
  • Autism and Asperger’s Syndrome
  • Sensory impairments
    Including: deaf, hard of hearing, blind or partially sighted.
  • Physical impairment
    Including: Multiple Sclerosis, Cerebral Palsy, Spina Bifida, Cystic Fibrosis, Muscular Dystrophy, amputee, wheelchair user, dwarfism and other physical impairments.

This service is available for anyone in South Yorkshire or West Yorkshire.
