The Daily Mile are giving schools in South Yorkshire and West Yorkshire the chance to win some fantastic prizes this summer term.
Whether your school has been doing The Daily Mile since September, or you’re thinking of signing up for free in the coming weeks, your school could be a winner.
So, how does it work?
If your school is one of over 200 already doing The Daily Mile across the two counties, this is your chance to celebrate how it has benefitted the school, teachers and, most importantly, the pupils.
Has your school seen improved fitness levels among your children? Perhaps children’s concentration has improved, and this has been reflected in their attainment? Whatever it is, The Daily Mile want to hear your story!
Tell that story in one of two ways:
- Complete the online form, with the option to upload pictures and videos, or
- Post a tweet or Instagram that includes a photo or video showing why your school loves The Daily Mile. Make sure you tag @YorkshireSport to have the chance to win
Shania Boom, The Daily Mile Local Coordinator for South Yorkshire and West Yorkshire, will pick the winners. Make your entry as creative as possible!
Prizes up for grabs are:
- One of five outdoor speakers, perfect for when you’re doing The Daily Mile
- One of five £100 vouchers to spend on PE equipment with Davies Sports
If you’re not yet signed up to The Daily Mile, and thing the summer term is the perfect time to give it a go, simply visit thedailymile.co.uk, find out more about the initiative, and sign up before June 14 2019. All schools signing up between now and then will go into a draw to win one of ten £75 vouchers to spend on PE equipment with Davies Sports.
Entries for both levels of the summer competition must be received by the 5pm on Friday 14 June.
