Female coaches across the north of England are being encouraged to tell their stories and to #PassOnYourPassion as part of a campaign.
Between now and the middle of December, women who provide opportunities for others to be active will be celebrated, aiming to inspire more females into the sports workforce, whether that be as coaches, club welfare officers or committee members.
The campaign will begin in West Yorkshire, before the baton passes to South Yorkshire next week. From there, the #PassOnYourPassion baton will tour the north of England, shining the spotlight on paid and unpaid coaches.
The campaign will pass into Humberside and North Yorkshire before touring the North East and North West before finishing in Greater Manchester in December.
To support women who are inspired to either begin, or to get back into coaching, anyone completing our online form will go into a draw to win £30 towards a coaching qualification of their choice.
A winner from each of the nine districts in South Yorkshire and West Yorkshire will be drawn at random, after the applications close on Sunday 29 September.
Be sure to follow @YorkshireSport on social media as we celebrate the women who help others get active.
