Job opportunity: Health and Wellbeing Activator

The successful candidate will make a positive contribution to the Coalfield Regeneration Trust’s Airedale ‘Communities that Work’ initiative, and the Active Airedale project delivered in partnership with the Yorkshire Sport Foundation, through improving the health and wellbeing of individuals in Airedale.

This will involve supporting local groups to consider the use of health and wellbeing activities to help achieve their outcomes and through the direct delivery of a range of health and wellbeing activities, such as sport and physical activity, where there are gaps locally in provision.

To contribute towards the delivery of the Trust’s Strategy, Operational plan and overall objectives by supporting and delivering Trust activities e.g. events, one to ones, workshops etc. that respond to the challenges that exist in former mining communities; linking local people to support available and other organisations.

To support quality, which is embedded in the management system to national and international standards and regulations, by complying to established processes. Review programme documents annually with the Development Manager and suggest changes to the custodian in accordance with document control.
