A national study on the contribution the voluntary sector makes to the local community is looking for more responses. 5,200 voluntary and community organisations and social enterprises have joined so far in England and Wales, with over 500 in Yorkshire and Humber.
They are especially keen to hear from community sport groups because of their vital contribution to health, wellbeing and community interaction.
Tony Chapman from Durham University said: “We really need you to take part in all areas of Yorkshire and Humber so that we can build a picture of what is happening locally, what has changed since 2019 and what you think is going to happen next.
“It’s quick, interesting, easy to do. You can do it on your phone, tablet, laptop or PC.
