Women in Sport aims to transform the lives of women and girls in sport. They have shared their progress in their latest Impact Report, here.
They said: “We are living in extraordinary times, yet Women in Sport continues to be a constant voice for girls and women. Over the last two years we have built on our existing unique bank of knowledge and insights, developed solution-based programmes, created policy positions, and worked alongside sport and leisure providers as well as well-known brands to create meaningful change for women and girls in sport.
“Some key achievements include our research into the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on women’s lives, our ‘Big Sister’ pilot programme which is supporting teenage girls in four disadvantaged areas of England, and our trailblazing #TimeTogether campaign which unites multiple sporting and outdoor partners to inspire mothers and daughters to be active.
“None of this would be possible without the support of our partners, to whom we are extremely grateful. And to the individuals who have donated or undertaken extraordinary challenge events to raise money for us, we are also greatly indebted.
“We are determined to continue to stand up for women and girls in sport. Thank you for your help in enabling us to do so. Will you help us transform the lives of every woman and girl through sport?”
