Areas of Work

• Working in partnership with CIMSPA to create local skills accountability boards and to develop local sector skills plans.
• Provide training and development opportunities for Health and Social care workforce to gain skills to promote active lifestyles and physical activity.
• Promoting the value of sport and physical activity at district and sub-regional level to support and enhance initiatives in work, health, and skills agendas.

Previous Experience

Working as Workforce Development Officer for EFL Trust. Main duties were to support partners in workforce practice required to deliver the National Citizen Service Programme. Implementing the National Workforce strategy and facilitating a range of training courses. Previous to that, I worked for Huddersfield Giants for eight years managing the National Citizen Service locally, a four-part youth development programme for young people to build skills for future work and life.

Keeping Active

I teach dance part time at the Lauren Faye School of Dance in Huddersfield, and also love walking with the dog.
