Healthy life expectancy figures in Yorkshire drop below 60

Figures from the ONS show people in Yorkshire only have 58.8 years of healthy life, compared to 61.5 years in England. Despite modest increases in life expectancy since 2019 to 2021, healthy life expectancy (HLE) in the UK, for both males and females, decreased to its lowest level since our time series began in 2011 to 2013.
