Lisa has had several years’ experience working in sport, including education, Local Authority and Club settings. Starting as a Community Sport Coach based at Priesthorpe School Sport Partnership and Spen Valley School Sport Partnership, Lisa then moved into Sports Development working with the Leeds Athletics Network and Leeds City Council’s Sports Development Team. Following the birth of Lisa’s second child, an opportunity arose to support the Sportivate programme at West Yorkshire Sport, which Lisa took on prior to starting the Creating Connections Project..
Lisa has coached at Leeds City Athletics Club for many years and has been the Team Manager for the Yorkshire and Humberside Special Olympics athletics team at several National Games. One of Lisa’s proudest achievements was being able to coach an athlete who went on to compete in the Special Olympics World Games in China in 2007.

Personal Sporting Interests:
Lisa enjoys keeping fit and does this in many ways including walking, attending the gym and also running around after her two young children.
