Sport England is committed to helping people and communities across the country create sporting habits for life. Sport England, the network of Active Partnerships and the Youth Sport Trust are combining effort to help schools and sports make the most of the new Government £150m per annum Primary School Sport Premium.
By collaborating and working together to support schools, sports and others make the most of the premium, Sport England are aiming to ensure that the funding delivers high quality physical education and school sport. The support is being freely and readily offered but there will be no compulsion on schools, sports or anyone else. The help is being made freely available but there will be no compulsion or any requirement to take up this offer.

The Youth Sport Trust is passionate about helping all young people to achieve their full potential – and have a range of support available to those working in education and school sport.
Their specialist staff work closely with all schools (primary, secondary and special educational needs) and a range of partners including National Governing Bodies of Sport, YST corporate partners and Government, to get even more young people involved in PE and school sport.
Sports Leaders UK is changing lives. Originally founded over 30 years ago, Sports Leaders UK was set up to support people across the UK who would like to give back to their local community. It now assists over 140,000 young people a year to give them the skills, advice and confidence to provide sporting opportunities to their neighbourhood. Read more about their work on the website.
UK Coaching, funded by Sport England, is the lead coaching agency in England and has coordinated and collaborated with afPE, CSPN , Sport England and the Youth Sport Trust in producing this useful aide to maximise the impact of the primary school sport premium.
