This Girl Can Week
Monday 11 October – Friday 15 October
We are excited to introduce a This Girl Can activity to the West Yorkshire School Games programme!
The week will be the start of a number of events the School Games team will be running throughout the year specifically designed for KS3 and KS4 (year 7-11) girls.
Registered schools will have access to a number of videos that have been specifically designed for secondary aged girls. These videos will range from well-being tutorials to more high-energy workouts. You are welcome to use the content in whichever way suits your school and young people. That may be in a designated PE lesson during the week, for the girls to take part in their own time, or both.
Sign up your school and you will receive the virtual content ahead of the week.
Your local School Games Organiser may also be running some girls only events in your area. Please use their contact details to get in touch and find out more.
