Previous Experience

Jodie is a skilled leader with extensive experience across public service; including local authority and the voluntary, community and faith sector.

Jodie is a proud Yorkshire woman, originally from Bradford and has lived in Leeds since she studied a degree in Sports Development at Leeds Metropolitan University (now Leeds Beckett). Jodie is a former employee of the Foundation, having worked across South and West Yorkshire in a range of roles including National Governing Body Partnerships and leading local support in Doncaster and Rotherham. 

Jodie is currently Senior Partnerships Manager within Public Health at City of Doncaster Council, where over the last eight years she has led Doncaster’s ‘Local Delivery Pilot’ (now known as Place Partnership), positioning Get Doncaster Moving as one of the leading places nationally in whole systems, place-based approaches to reducing inequalities in physical activity.

Jodie is a dedicated Hockey player and Vice-Chair of the Board at Ben Rhydding Hockey club, where she has played, coached and volunteered for the last 25 years.
