Coach development week

Coach Development Week

Monday 20 to Friday 24 October 2025

Coach Development Week is a chance for coaches from across Sport and Physical Activity to take part in workshops and get support and resources to help them on their coaching journey. This isn't about the technical information of your sport but the generic skills that can help within your coaching practice for all participants.

Monday 20 October 7-8:30pm - Play Their Way

Online session

This workshop shares Play Their Way, a grassroots coaching movement. Led by the Children's Coaching Collaborative, Play Their Way aims to kick-start a movement of child-first coaches, organisations and people changing the game from the ground up. The Play Their Way movement aims to support coaches to give children and young people a choice in their experiences of activity, create space for them to voice their wishes and enable them to take ownership of their development journey. When you embrace child-first coaching every coach has the potential to transform lives.
