Doncaster
Doncaster is a district built on farming and the mining and railway industries.
Its flat terrain along the River Don makes it great for cycling and exploring places like Conisborough Castle and Rossington.
Get Doncaster Moving is the place partnership for the district and supports Doncaster's communities to be physically active, healthy and vibrant. It's a partnership of people, groups, organisations and businesses who work together on these shared goals.
There is a small central team, based within Doncaster Council, who help to co-ordinate this work on behalf of the partnership.
Get Doncaster Moving started as one of Sport England's 12 Local Delivery Pilots.
How we support Doncaster
Nathan is our lead in developing, fostering and managing relationships in Doncaster, with additional support from the wider YSF team. This nurturing of relationships is designed to support people being more active, particularly people living with the greatest challenges who will benefit most.
