Action not Words - Building a Sustainable Sport and Physical Activity Sector in Yorkshire and the Humber
The webinar will be the catalyst for a coordinated regional response by the sport and physical activity sector to the environmental challenges we all face in our personal and professional lives.

This webinar is a fringe event, part of the Yorkshire Sustainability Festival.

The event will:
- Consider relationships between sport, physical activity, and environmental sustainability
- Provide an update on the sector’s response to date, regionally and nationally
- Showcase examples of good and best practice
- Provide an opportunity for delegates to contribute their thoughts and ideas and help shape the region’s response
The event is open to anyone with an interest in relationships between physical activity, sport, and environmental sustainability, and is specifically aimed at:
- Active Partnerships
- Local Authorities
- Governing Bodies of sport
- Sports clubs (amateur and professional)
- Universities and Colleges
- Sport and environmental charities and social enterprises
- Health and physical activity professionals
Speakers and facilitators will include:
- David Gent - Chief Executive, Active Humber and a member of the UK Sport Environment and Climate Coalition
- Chris Cutforth - educator, sports industry professional, environmental champion
- Dom Jordan - General Manager (Executive) British Association of Sustainable Sport (to be confirmed)
