'Best Companies' score improves for YSF

Yorkshire Sport Foundation has again been named the Best Charity to Work For in the UK by Best Companies.

Scores improved across the board on our 2024 results and we achieved:

  • Three-star 'World Class Company to Work For' rating for the third successive year
  • Number 1 in the charity's category for the second year running
  • Fourth best small business to work for in the UK, up from 10th last year
  • Third best company to work for in Yorkshire and the Humber, up from 9th

Best Companies is a leading employee engagement specialist, delivering powerful data and insights to help positive change within the workplace.

They award accreditation based on the unique BCI score generated by a survey sent to every member of a workplace. Organisations achieve a score between zero and 1,000, receiving either a ‘One to Watch’ status, or 1 – 3 Star Accreditation.

Carl Hawkes, Chief Executive of YSF, commented: "We are proud to be named the very best charity to work for in the UK and the third best organisation to work for in Yorkshire and Humber.

"The process helps us to better understand how we can better support our team to be an amazing organisation to work for.

"Being a good employer at YSF means we can be the very best partner organisation to support the organisations and communities we work for."
