City Connect community grants open to get people moving

Grants of £5,000 to enable voluntary sector organisations to get their communities walking, cycling, wheeling or scooting more.

Applications are now open. Application deadline is midnight on 9th April.

Not-for-profit organisations are invited to bid for grants of up to £5,000 to deliver projects, which provide local solutions to local barriers stopping people from walking, cycling or wheeling.

Initiatives include:

  • pool bikes and bike loans;
  • led walks and cycles;
  • route planning;
  • bike maintenance sessions;
  • other group activities linked to art and culture.
