Gambling Harms training

Gambling with Lives is a registered charity set up by families and friends who lost loved ones to gambling-related suicide. Millions of people experience gambling harm in the UK with young people most at risk.

GwL are working with Yorkshire Sport to offer free online training sessions throughout November for sports clubs and community organisations. The training will raise awareness of the causes and effects of gambling harms, how to support a young person affected and provide free educational resources for participants to use with the young people they work with. The training has been created and is delivered by people with lived experience of gambling harms to support club welfare officers, coaches and other club members to support young people within their club.

For more information on the training content please contact james@gamblingwithlives.org

This is a free workshop available to any club or group based within Yorkshire and the Humber.

There are two workshops available for clubs:

Monday 18 November 7-9pm

Tuesday 19 November 12:30-2:30pm
