Inclusive Sports Festival 2024

Wakefield District's First Disability Sports Events promote inclusivity in sports to neuro-diverse children and their families - and those with learning disabilities.

Event Details

Saturday, 7 September: 11am - 2pm at Thornes Park Stadium, Horbury Road, Wakefield WF2 8TY.

Sunday, 15 September: 10am - 1pm at Featherstone Sports Complex, Pontefract Road, Featherstone, Pontefract WF7 5AJ.

The event will offer many sports taster sessions including:

  • bowls
  • tennis
  • basketball
  • horse riding
  • football
  • rugby
  • self defence
  • boxing
  • and much more!

The amazing Chris Kamara (official) will be dropping by to say hello and get involved in some of the sports.
