Leeds Equipment and Kit Exchange event
Leeds Equipment and Kit Exchange invite partners to a meeting on Thursday, 14th November 2024 at CATCH Leeds.
Following the recent recognition with the Purpose-Led Partnership Award at the Sport Positive+ Awards, they are bringing together both existing members of the partnership and new partners from across the city who are interested in making physical activity more accessible to everyone in Leeds.
This evening will provide insights into the impact of the collective work locally and nationally. Denise Ludlam, Environmental Sustainability Strategic Lead at Sport England will be keynote speaker, who will share her perspective on how Leeds’ initiatives contribute to wider sustainability goals within the sports sector.
Event Highlights:
- Opportunities to network with current and prospective partners
- Updates from key leaders, including representatives from Zero Waste Leeds, Leeds City Council, Action for Sport and Yorkshire Sport Foundation
- Group discussions on how we can collaborate to expand the reach and impact of the kit exchange programme across Leeds
This event is an ideal opportunity for organisations to share ideas, build connections, and work together to tackle inequalities, reduce waste, and support physical activity in our communities.
