NGB Connect

At the start of December we hosted the latest NGB connect session. These sessions are open to every NGB officer that covers South Yorkshire and West Yorkshire as part of their role. Each time we meet we have a different focus and this we looked at priorities for the year ahead and current challenges, the benefits of meeting across sport always shine through as expertise and local knowledge is able to be shared.

We also had the pleasure of being joined by Leeds City Council and Leeds Rhino's foundation who talked through their club nutrition programme which supported clubs across Leeds to adopt healthier eating throughout their tuck shops and post game meals as well as sharing messages home about the importance of nutrition. The NGBs in attendance are now taking this information away to see how they could implement it within their own club links.

The next event will take place in March 2026 - contact becca.gallagher@yorkshiresport.org for more information,
