BSA 2025

The 2026 Bradford Sports Awards will be a 10th anniversary celebration presented by Active Bradford in partnership with Bradford Council.

The awards ceremony is set to take place on Thursday, 30th April 2026 at Bradford City FC, marking a decade of celebrating the outstanding achievements of athletes, coaches, administrators, and volunteers across the Bradford District.

Co-Chairs of Active Bradford, James Mason and Charles Dacres, reflected on this significant milestone, stating: "Reaching our 10th year is a testament to the incredible sporting talent and community spirit that exists in Bradford. Over the past decade, we've celebrated hundreds of inspiring individuals and teams who have made remarkable contributions to sport and physical activity in our district. We're delighted that some fantastic local businesses and organisations have already confirmed their sponsorship, including Bradford City and Bradford Bulls. However, we still need more local businesses, organisations, and sporting clubs to get involved. This anniversary event is a true celebration of our city's sporting spirit, and we need everyone's support to make it our best year yet."

Other organisations supporting the event this year include Bradford College, Bradford Ice Arena, Salus Padel, Sport England, Strike Padel, Yorkshire Sport Foundation, and West Riding County FA.

This milestone 10th anniversary event will feature 23 awards spanning seven main groups: Young Achievers (Under 18), Amateur Achievers (Over 18), Professional Achievers (Over 18), Active Achievers, Team Achievers, and Outstanding Contribution. Community members are encouraged to nominate individuals, teams, or organisations that have made significant contributions to sports and physical activity in the district.
