We All Belong – get involved this International Day of Disabled People

We all belong

On December 3, Activity Alliance is celebrating belonging in action across sports and activities for International Day of Disabled People.

We All Belong is a long-term strategy to make sport and physical activity a place where every disabled person feels they belong. One year on from its launch, they are highlighting the people, clubs, and organisations who bring belonging to life every day.

Across our latest insight, disabled people tell how much belonging matters:

  • 76% would like to be more active
  • Disabled adults are almost twice as likely to be inactive as non-disabled adults
  • Only 25% of disabled children take part in sport all the time at school

These inequalities are real - but so is the change being made across communities.

They are also excited to launch our new supporter scheme - a free network for anyone who shares our ambition to create inclusive sport and activity.

Supporters receive:

  • Regular insights and updates
  • Opportunities to contribute to campaigns and policy
  • Resources to support their inclusion journey

Sign up from Wednesday 3 December.
