Welcome to CultureDale - Free Event for Sports Providers, 5 June

As part the Year of Culture, Calderdale will be holding a ‘Welcome to CultureDale’ evening at the Shay Stadium, Halifax, Shaw Hill, HX1 2YS on Wednesday 5^th of June 18:00 – 20:00. They are inviting all Sports Clubs and Community Organisations who offer Sport and Physical Activity across Calderdale to attend.

Our aim for the evening, is to give Sports Clubs and Community Organisations a better understanding of what CultureDale is all about and how your Sports Club or Community Organisation can be part of the Year of Culture 2024. CultureDale will also be giving Sports Clubs and Community Organisations the opportunity to access a Financial Management & Funding workshop delivered by Buddle which replaces the Sport England Club Matters offering.

The evening will include:

• An Introduction to CultureDale.
• Information about CultureDale Funding Opportunities.
• A training session delivered by Buddle covering Financial Management & Funding Advice.
• An activation session on how your Club or Community Organisation can get involved in the Year of Culture 2024.
• Tea & Coffee.
