YSF supports Out Together at the All Out Together Ball

Staff from Yorkshire Sport Foundation were delighted to attend the All Out Together Ball on Saturday 6 June, joining supporters and partners at the Queens Hotel in Leeds for a wonderful evening of celebration and fundraising.
Steven Heywood, Active Design Manager, Measha Harris, Sport Welfare Officer and Nicola Holmes, Senior Sport Welfare Officer, represented YSF at the event, which is the flagship fundraiser for Out Together, a charity that creates communities for LGBTQ+ people across Yorkshire.
Out Together works to reduce isolation and improve wellbeing for LGBT+ people, operating hubs across the region, including in Leeds, Bradford, Huddersfield and Calderdale. The Ball is a key moment in their calendar, raising vital funds to help them grow their services and reach more people.
Steven Heywood, YSF Active Design Manager said:
“I felt incredibly privileged to attend the Out Together Charity Ball this weekend and to share such a fantastic experience with friends from YSF, as well as members of the vibrant LGBTQ+ community from across Leeds and the surrounding areas.
"More than 250 people attended, including several well-known celebrities, and their generosity helped raise an impressive £21,000 for the charity.
"We look forward to working closely with Matt and the Out Together team to explore how we can support people in becoming more physically active and more socially connected, helping to address loneliness and isolation while improving overall health and wellbeing."
