Previous Experience

Andrew joined the team in May 2013 having spent over 8 years working as an Active Schools Coordinator in Fife as part of Sport Scotland’s Active Schools Network. In that time he also volunteered for Disability Sports Fife as a sports coach at the FUNdamentals multi activity club for young people with disabilities.

Prior to joining Active Fife Andrew worked for Kirklees Active Leisure for 18 months setting up an after school club and managing the Playscheme at Batley Sports and Tennis Centre. He also worked as a youth worker in this time.

Andrew left the University of York St. John with degree in Sport Studies and Physical Education. Before going to University he worked for two years at Huddersfield NHS Trust as a Human Resources Assistant.

Keeping Active

Andrew enjoys going to the gym and is a lifelong Leeds United fan
