The Community-led National Cycle Network Improvement Fund is a new pilot scheme funded by Active Travel England (ATE) through Walk Wheel Cycle Trust.

The Trust will provide support for two community groups to progress an infrastructure focused project, that when completed, will allow more people to use their local National Cycle Network for every day journeys.

The scheme aims to:

  • Access to a grant, which can be used to purchase activities, equipment or items and/or services (not provided by the Trust).
