Get Doncaster Moving - Moving Minds

The GDM Moving Minds Summit was the Network’s biggest event yet, and was a lively day of learning, collaboration and connection.

This year's theme, 'Moving Minds', encouraged people to explore how shifting mindsets can inspire meaningful and lasting change. Keynote speaker Phill Agnew, host of critically acclaimed behavioural science podcast, Nudge, offered valuable insight into behaviour change through the EAST framework, which was followed by a practical workshop, using the EAST principles, to spark ideas that could then be tried and tested straight away.

The afternoon was filled with a choice of workshops on a number of key themes important to the network - a compassionate approach to movement, leading inclusion, using community-centred approaches to reduce physical inactivity and owning your research journey and evidence informed decisions.
