Lead the Change: A proud celebration of our second cohort completing the programme
Yorkshire Sport Foundation (YSF) is proud to celebrate the second cohort of future leaders who have successfully completed the Lead the Change programme - a growing initiative that continues to build real momentum across the sector.
As the programme evolves, its impact is being felt not only by aspiring leaders from ethnically diverse backgrounds, but also more widely across the sport and physical activity landscape. Through developing confidence, skills, and networks, Lead the Change is helping to shape a more inclusive and representative future for leadership.
Participants from this latest cohort have shared powerful reflections on their experiences, highlighting the value of the programme in supporting both personal and professional growth. A key theme that emerged was the importance of keeping the programme locally rooted and relevant — ensuring it reflects the communities it serves and drives long-term, meaningful change within leadership across the region.
This milestone marks a significant moment for everyone involved, and a testament to the collective commitment to creating more inclusive leadership pathways.
A huge thank you goes to all those who have contributed their time, energy, and expertise to make this impactful opportunity possible.
WRCFA , HTAFC, Equity Coach, Sporting Equals, and Blacklight Consultancy.
