Leeds Physical Activity Ambition event - 7 Feb 2025

This online event will share the work taking place and how to get involved.

It's aimed at anyone involved in, or supportive of, getting the city moving more, as well as those from other areas who want to see how channels we all face are being addressed. 

A spokesperson for from the Leeds Health Partnerships Team said:  "Partners across the city are working together to deliver the ambition of making Leeds a place where everyone moves more every day."

"It is an opportunity to hear about our progress, and we aim to inspire new advocates to join us on our journey.

"There will be an opportunity for delegates to take part in a conversation with a panel, and to share their thoughts and ideas about what else we can all do to get everyone moving more every day."

 09:30-11:30 on Friday 7 February 2025.  

This is a free event where you will:

  • Hear about the development and progress to date on the Leeds Physical Activity Ambition and why this is a key element of the  Best City Ambition

  • Get to put your questions, views and ideas, to a carefully selected panel ranging from community activists to decision makers

  • Listen to an inspiring personal journey of someone who's life has been changed as a result of moving more and embedding physical activity into their world

  • Consider and reflect on your unique role in supporting this agenda.
