NextGen Young Leaders programme is back this summer in Rotherham
After a successful programme last year, StreetGames are delivering another NextGen Sports Leaders project.
They are looking for young people aged 14 - 18 to take part in a six week leadership programme packed full of fun and engaging workshops, courses and activities carefully designed for teenagers who have an interest in sport and physical activity.
Qualifications and experiences on offer include:
- first aid,
- mental health first aid,
- safeguarding,
- multi skills activator training,
- sports specific activators and
- becoming a peer researcher.
Dates: Every Wednesday afternoon throughout August (6th, 13th, 20th) and a full day on the 27th Aug. And an event over the weekend of the 6 + 7th of September.
Time: 1pm - 4pm. 10am-4pm
Venue: Rotherham Leisure Complex, Effingham Street, Rotherham S65 1BL
