Social media guide for support community groups and clubs in Doncaster

The social media toolkit has been made available to support community groups and sports clubs to promote themselves and raise their profile.

Many clubs and groups across Doncaster are enjoying the benefits of promoting themselves on-line and are comfortable using social media for this purpose. However some clubs and groups have asked for some additional support to help them become established online and/or promote themselves online more effectively.

These social media guides below aim to provide an introduction to social media and step by step guides for some of the most popular social media platforms: Facebook, Instagram, X (Twitter) and Whatsapp.

The guides have been created in partnership with local partners Get Doncaster Moving, Well Doncaster, the Doncaster Green Space Network, national partners Buddle, and funded by Sport England and The National Lottery (through the Local Delivery Pilot funding), recognising that the clubs, groups and organisations we serve have shared interests and challenges and by working together effectively we can better support the wider network.
