UKREiiF 2026: Join YSF at the Landscape Institute Pavilion, 19-21 May 2026

YSF and the Active Partnerships National Organisation (APNO), are supporting the Landscape Institute in hosting a dedicated pavilion at the UK’s Real Estate Investment and Infrastructure Forum (UKREiiF) at Leeds' Royal Armouries Museum in May.

Delivered in partnership with the Landscape Institute, GreenBlue Urban, Nature North, Van den Berk Nurseries, Vestre, and Greenbelt Group, the pavilion will spotlight the vital role of landscape in unlocking value, resilience and long-term performance in development.

The pavilion will be the focal point for discussion and insight on creating quality, sustainable places through built development, and the network will use this opportunity to champion landscape-led development, green infrastructure, and accessible places that enable active, healthy communities.

With support from colleagues from across the network and partners from Sport England’s active environment framework, APNO will co-deliver two conference workshops; a specific session focused on Active Environments and a session on Place, Health, Value, which will look at designing health into public spaces.

Steven Heywood, YSF's Active Place lead said: "We are very excited to be part of this years national UKREIFF event and support The Landscape Institute in their pavilion.

This is a great opportunity to align influences and resource, and impact the future design and development of place and space.  It will let us tap into  wider conversations around public health, biodiversity, net zero and housing targets within the built environment.”

A programme focused on people, place and nature
The pavilion programme will be structured around the three core themes of people, place and nature. It will demonstrate how a landscape-led approach can maximise social, environmental and economic value, as the UK faces growing demands on its land, from housing and infrastructure to nature restoration and climate adaptation.

Across the three days, a curated programme of panel discussions, workshops, networking opportunities and fringe events will bring together leading voices from across the natural and built environment to explore practical ways to deliver developments that work better for communities, support biodiversity and strengthen long-term investment outcomes.
