YSF ambassador organisation for Child Friendly Leeds

Yorkshire Sport Foundation are proud to have joined the Child Friendly Leeds Ambassador Network promoting the initiative and it's 12 wishes. Child Friendly Leeds was launched by Her Late Majesty Queen Elizabeth II in 2012. Since then, a growing number of partners and ambassadors across the city have been working together to create better outcomes for children and young people in Leeds.

Child Friendly Leeds invites ambassadors to take action in their schools, communities, businesses and organisations to make Leeds a child friendly city. Working on this citywide ambition, Child Friendly Leeds have hundreds of ambassadors and partners that embed this vision in their work place, plans and day to day work.

Adam Fuller - Development Manager for Children and Young People said: "The Child Friendly Leeds campaign promotes a city-wide approach to prioritising children.  We believe that sport and physical activity play an integral part to living out those wishes.

"We are happy to support Wish 9, developing opportunities for physical activity and sport as they support other wishes around education, mental health, SEND support, experiences, active travel and reducing inequalities.

"YSF is proud to become an ambassador organisation, further highlighting this fantastic city-wide approach".
