Community walking and cycling hubs
City Connect are offering grants of up to £50,000 to support organisations across West Yorkshire to join our expanding network of community walking and cycling hubs.
You can apply for this funding up until 2359 on Sunday 29 June.
The grant application guidance notes should be read carefully before proceeding with this application form.
You can apply for a grant if you are a social enterprise, registered charity, community interest company, or private limited by guarantee company registered or constituted in the UK.
Each group has received up to £50,000 to become a community walking and cycling hub. These are “one-stop-shops” for people to access the support they need to walk and cycle, including advice on routes, equipment, training and group activities.
As places for everyone, the hubs are an inclusive, welcoming space for people who want to be more active and meet new people.
A track record of delivering active travel engagement work is not essential. To be eligible for our funding, it is enough that you and your organisation are committed to developing active travel participation in your area.
We would welcome applications from two or more organisations working collaboratively, and this may include a local authority.
If you would like support with your application, please contact us at cityconnect@westyorks-ca.gov.uk.
