Dore take the gold at South Yorkshire School Games Basketball Finals

The South Yorkshire School Games Y4 Basketball Finals 2026 came to the to the Canon Medical Arena in Sheffield, the home of B. Braun Sheffield Sharks and B. Braun Sheffield Hatters.

Eight teams competed from local cluster competitions to the and borough/ city finals! Congratulations to all 80 participants who followed all values of the School Games perfectly. The top 3 teams were as follows:

🥈 Waverley Academy, Rotherham
🥉 Cawthorne Primary School, Barnsley

YSF CEO Carl Hawkes said: "This event is a chance for children to step up and represent their school in an elite sports facility and a culmination of the work of the schools and School Games Organisers.
