Job opportunity: Head of Communications and Marketing
We have a brilliant opportunity for someone who sees communications and marketing as a genuine force for change, not just a function.
At Yorkshire Sport Foundation, we believe that everyone in Yorkshire deserves the chance to move more, feel better and thrive. Our new Head of Communications and Marketing will play a central role in making that happen, helping us and our partners tell better stories, influence action and create real impact across the region.
This is not a role for someone who just wants to manage channels or produce content. You'll be translating complex evidence into clear, persuasive narratives, drawing on insight and behavioural science to shift thinking and influence behaviour. You'll work closely with our CEO and the wider team, and with partners across Yorkshire, and you'll be as comfortable thinking strategically as you are rolling up your sleeves and getting things done.
Importantly, success in this role will often mean helping others shine. That might be a community organisation telling its story, or a partner making the case for investment in physical activity. It's about creating impact, not seeking the spotlight.
We're proud to be a genuinely good place to work. In 2025, we were rated World Class in the Best Companies to Work For rankings, named the best charity to work for, and the third best organisation to work for in Yorkshire and Humber. Our Board is committed to making sure that continues.
If this sounds like the kind of role you're looking for, we'd love to hear from you. Click here to learn more and apply.
