New and improved safeguarding training from UK Coaching and NSPCC Sport
UK Coaching has launched a refreshed suite of Safeguarding and Protecting Children learning products, developed in partnership with NSPCC Sport, reinforcing a shared commitment to creating safer sporting environments for children and young people.
Designed for coaches, welfare officers, young coaches, volunteers and organisations across the sport and physical activity sector, the updated learning offers tailored support to help everyone play their part in making sport a safe, positive and inclusive experience.
Drawing on NSPCC safeguarding expertise, the new content includes realistic scenarios based on disclosures received within sport and physical activity settings, helping learners better understand how to recognise concerns and respond appropriately.
As the only safeguarding training of its kind developed alongside NSPCC Sport, the refreshed programme is designed to build confidence, strengthen good practice, and ensure that the wellbeing of children and young people remains at the heart of every sporting environment.
