The JU:MP Community Grants Fund will support voluntary, community, faith and enterprise sector organisations in the delivery and development of strength-based projects and initiatives across the Bradford District. There will be a specific focus on Keighley, Great Horton, Bradford Moor and Tong neighbourhoods, to help create more inclusive, accessible, and sustainable opportunities for children to move, play and stay active within their own neighbourhoods.
The successful organisations for these grants include:-
- Biasan Community

- Bierley Community Association
- Horton Bank Top Community Foodbank
- Ash Yorkshire CIC/Friends of Bowling Park

"Through the JU:MP Community Grants Programme, we are empowering local organisations to make a real difference," said Sam Bacon, Director of Active Bradford and JU:MP. "By collaborating with grassroots groups, we can tap into the energy, creativity, and local knowledge needed to create vibrant, sustainable opportunities for children to be active. We are excited to see the positive impact these communities will have on our communities."
JU:MP is seeking to continue receiving applications for the Community Grants Funds across the district which are available from £500 to £1500 maximum (one application per organisation) on a first come first serve basis. Projects must be delivered by 31st December 2024.
