Sport Welfare Connect event - 2 October 2024
After the success of their first event in June, the Sport Welfare team across Yorkshire and the Humber are delighted to be running their second Sport Welfare Connect network event. This will take place on Wednesday 2 October from 6pm to 7.30pm, with the option to stay online for an informal conversation until 8pm. The event is free of charge and will take place on Microsoft Teams.
This is an opportunity for Club Welfare Officers and others who work within welfare, wellbeing and safeguarding in sport and physical activity to learn about a variety of topics. In response to discussions that took place in the first event, on the agenda this time will be GDPR, inclusivity, and Buddle. There’ll also be time to chat about current welfare issues and to share good practice.
